Nice goat!

Thats alot of wood! What kind is it? The red center is throwing me off.
I'd rather have a '72 or '66 GOAT, but the furry one will have to do for now. He was a bottle rescue and is a hooved dog...

The wood is a mixture of Cedar, Catalpa, White Oak, Hackleberry, Ash, Mulberry and Siberian Elm. It was mixed lot, and won't be sold due the mutt nature of it, but will burn fine in my Pacific Energy T-6 stove, especially when mixed with an appropriate amount of Honey Locust and Hedge (Osage Orange).

And, one of my two current beasts of burden. Nowhere near as nice as Clint's truck, but a few $$$ cheaper!! The B&W receiver is a nice feature on the Bradford bed. It will have a hydraulic spike kit shortly to facilitate moving round bales for the animals.20170825_152251.jpg

Grody - was their roof leaking?
It was nasty, yes the roof leaked! Slow leak for years, the white mold section was still active(the other side was repaired) and this second showed only a minor spot, but mold and rot was hiding! The good news was it was super easy to pinpoint the leak, the leak was probably there the when they install it, but it was so slow that it didn’t show! With a hose on the roof, it took 30 seconds to find the spot, it’s going to get repaired and tested before anything new goes up!
