No panel. Held in by straps.
No need to drop the tank. You can access the connector c413 at the right side of the tank, on the evap canister.
Just be sure to splice the resistor in on the car side of the wires, not on the sensor side.
I was thinking of replacing the sender without having to lay on the driveway... you know, do the proper repair? ;)

Mines spot is under the bed, attempting to dig a hole through the floor..
She wont even come out for cheetos during a storm. And she loves cheetos!

My parents had a little cocker spaniel and they had to give her meds befor a storm started to calm her down. She would just sit ther and shake like a dog *s-wording razer blades.

I was at the storage locker getting some saw parts and it decided to storm on me, I got a new shotgun saw for a few days... unfortunately it is getting fixed and back to owner that does not want to sell it. He just wanted it tuned up from six years ago when he got it at a garage sale. I was sick when he told me what he paid... any guesses lol!CAC297CF-CFA6-4FD2-9E49-BE560DED76EE.jpeg 1F776BC1-E3ED-42B1-B51E-B5123F1C731E.jpeg

We have those too! Need a cutting torch to make a falling cut! Lol
A few yrs ago I dropped a basketball pole with my 4" grinder, funny job.
I don't have any of those pictures as far as I remember, but here's some "work" related pictures that are funny.
Can you say improvise lol.

Purple and black/white.
Ok... you lied to me. ;)

It's actually purple and orange/ black on the car side. No harm, that's what butt connectors are for.

Used a 100 ohm resistor and the gauge reads about 1/4. More importantly is the CEL is gone and no codes are stored.

Obligatory picture so I can officially be part of this thread. :D

I went at looked at the pic of the schematic again..
Yeah, I did! Sorry. I just looked at the colors coming out of the sensor..
GM has gotten better with using the same color for the entire circuit now. I forgot that back then they had a tendency to change at each connector.

Sorry about the color screw up!
Glad you got it "fixed" though.

Edit: also, when I put car side, I wasn't meaning that side of c413 exactly, more the car side of wherever you cut them!

We had an issue with lock cylinder housings on the older Malibu's. Would cause a no start.
They were expensive. But, could wire in a 2.2K ohm resistor to the BCM and relearn theft and good to go...
I wired one in on the housing side. And cussed and swore and all but hulked out when it wouldn't learn the theft..until I figured out what I did.

1.4 turbo. I've had it on order since June 12th...
View attachment 188978

GM must have decided to change manufacturers. All the other turbos for this engine were supplied by Garrett.
I guess we shall see if the Honeywell units fare better. Or worse.
Wonder if that turbo will cause interference with the temp signals lol.
Honeywell is a huge company, got their hands in everything it seems.
I just changed out an ignition switch/key on my 99 suburban, I was surprised to see it come up in the codes that there was an error initially, but the truck runs perfect, with no codes now present. I thought I was gonna need to keep my key near it, I did all test with it in the house, it's now in the glove box incase it one day decides to freak out on me .

Corn is getting watered today...View attachment 188966
As marshy said we have the same situation here, many farmers never got anything out. We had like three days that would have allowed most equipment out in the fields and even then there were a lot of areas they couldn't plant or that flooded and they lost whatever they did plant.
That looks like a nice storm that was rollin in.
The kids and I went out for a little pre-storm fishing action, made it about 15min from the time we got out until we were running to the suburban drenched no fish , but it was fun, and how else you gonna get some cool pictures. Sure wish I had a nice camera.
These are in chronological order.
I think the 4th is probably one of the coolest, it's looking at the back side of the leading edge of the storm, winds were about 50mph at that time. I got a video of the clouds blowing up on the back side, you can't see it too well, but you can hear the wind pick up from a few miles and hr to whipping pretty good even in the valley.
Let me know if the video in the link works, thanks.
