We've been referring to her as swamp donkey since you posted. Lol. My neighbor got a good laugh out of it. Then this morning it occurred to me....who is making all the firewood and dragging logs out of the swamp for burning and building? It's me! Dang it! I'm the swamp donkey! I've always been told I'm sort of an ass but this is just ridiculous.

I was brush hoghing this morning and heard a loud hissing and i backed up and felt the wind in my face! Drove back to the shop and aired it up. Found a hole so large i could stick a srew driver in it!

We stock/sell delco batteries at work so i get the best price on them! Everything i own has a delco in it!

Me and the boys did a mud run today.
Rolled up in the burban and got a few funny looks. When it came time for leaving I got a few ah ha looks from peeps probably wishing they had a beater like mine to hop in instead of getting their BMWs and Caddys dirty lol.

I know that look. I got it Friday night. My oldest daughter had a dance recital (just her Friday, both girls Sat. and Sun, I went Sat.). She forgot her outfits for 2 dances, so I had to run them in. Boots, shorts, shirt with collar and sleeves cut off and still dirty from work..the country club types didnt seem impressed!

Yeah it's mostly for the houses with tiny little fireplaces or stoves that can barely fit those logs in. Birch smells lovely when it burns. I assume that's the main allure. I know folks that throw it on top of peat briquettes. Although I personally like the smell of peat, especially in Scotch.
