Went out to the marina where where i fish out of. Lake Erie is really high this year. Boat docks are almost under water. Some were under on other side.
The beach pics show the erosion. Ther used to be about 30 feet or so of nice beach. Now its all under water and eroding away.
Dam lauch fee went up from 12 to 15 bucks.

I bought this boat last year...I have learned to only do things one way so I only do it once...

It never found water last year as I got busted up pretty good last Easter with a busted ankle (2018).

Getting back into in the last week....first off carbs and water pump.

It's an odd ball.. Henry O 170 dual console. Built for NC water... by a McKee of McKee Craft. It's in the same league as a Boston Whaler...solid and foam filled. Swamp capacity of 5000 lbs from a 17'. I have known it for 18 years...and know the original owner real well. It's a nice size and enough to "water the kids" or fish with out being a huge boat and it cleans up real well.

How do you like the suzuki motor. One of the boats my dad had, had a suzuki 150 on it. It was a good strong motor.

It seems to have held up reasonably well. Nothing too trick, just a 4 cylinder outboard. Parts are getting a little tough to find but if it makes another few years it will have run it's course. If I had the money it would be repowered with a 115-120 hp four stroke. It's not in the current budget though.

I bought a set and have snapped all of them just on brush piles on a trailer. So now when ever I come up on a load held down with bright orange straps I get the hell away from them.

That sucks, I hit my thumb on my 2x72 knife grinder once with a 36 grit belt. Squared it off nice and straight, down to the white and pink meat.
