This is my first electric house. Im definitely buying two tomorrow! And a thermostat to keep on hand too. There is no gas infrastructure here so installing a gas heater would be pretty hefty bill vs. a 10 doller element!

It’s not the price of the element that I hate electric water heaters it’s the lack of recovery and first hour rating. We put them in most every new house and get constant complaints about them.

I totally agree! Hate electric heaters. This house is being torn down in a few years to build what i want. There will be more gas in this house than a dairy barn!

Here we don’t have a gas option, unless we have a propane tank! We have done a few tankless water heaters in both electric and gas, and people love them, if you can get the water heater close to to the usage the tankless is amazing, and saves you a bunch of money

I don't know, that picture is just as blurry as "ufo" sighting pictures. They're probably just wrinkly leaves or dried up corn cobs or somethin, but you go on believing them mushrooms exist.

I tried to get the bigfoot pictures uploaded but something went wrong!!! I hate smart phones.

Whats the deal on those sheds? They truck them out and set them up?

Locally they do small garden sheds, but nothing that big.
Lifetite they build house's/cabins/workshops/storage building's
Very efficient insect/rodent proof.
We had to add several vents to the house we built my friend
24x32 for now he's going to double it when fund's allow
We are running a full perimeter porch on it.20170819_110843.jpg 20180929_124422.jpg 20181007_154526.jpg 20181111_141233_Burst01.jpg 20170812_093648.jpgbuilding alone is r17 with 2x4 adds r13
We used 3/4 inch advantech water/weatherproof
Plywood floors/ roof.
We cut and milled poplar for the board on board siding.
Oak for the porches.

You doing more 3.6 chains?

You dont have the valve eater done yet? Slacker...

The General sucks major balls when it comes to shipping. The engine is coming out of the Lansing Mi. warehouse.
It then goes to Chicago. From there to Hudson Wi. Then to me..
It's been "in transit" since last Wednesday..

Yup, another set of chains.

Purchased a hand winch for my milling rig. Probably going to replace the cable with braided rope. Any weight savings I can get is helpful. Shes already a pig, I'll have to get it on a scale and weigh it.

Placement isnt final. The crank handle needs to be shortened and it needs mounting still. It has a 40:1 ratio so a shorter handle will help with cranking speed also.

I like that!

I need to get a winch on my mill. That is the worst part of a chainsaw mill in my opinion is the constant push on it.

Yeah, I'm going to injure my wrist at some point if I continue. I already have issues with my left wrist that flairs up form time to time, I dont need the same on my right. I started a thread in the milling forum.

I wonder if a drill can replace the handle for the ultimate level of slackerdom ?

Hey, that looks like the same undercarriage/engine as my wife’s Buick Enclave... but we have had no major issues with our car.

My biggest complaint is that the brakes suck azz,
