It was about 15° last night

When I drove for a roll off dumpster company and it got really cold out diesel would gel up and look like that. They usually put an additive in it that helped, but I don’t remember what it was

Just put my Son Pat on a plane heading back to Port St. Lucie Florida after spending a week and a half up in this lousy white windy cold Connecticut.

Was a real tough start, this visit, as he fell right back into his old ways with his old circle of friends. I grabbed Him on Sunday and once he dried out it was a joy to have him around.

Some of you might remember he's the Son who was in a wreck on his motorcycle back on Independence Day and nearly lost both his left leg and his left arm.

Well despite them telling him it'd be a year before he would be able to walk on his own again, he's not only walking but he's back to driving a truck part time for work.

Pic was taken at diner breakfast New Years Day.

Sure beats whisking the snow off his headstone.

Waste water treatment plant. Lots of hoses are left running so when it gets as cold as it has been we get some cool ice formations

I see. Buddy of mine works for the local plant driving a vac truck and it's always packed in the shop for that reason.

Leave a faucet running when it's this cold!!! All we've been doing is thawing out people's houses for 3 weeks now. Apparently people forget water freezes just like they forget how to drive in the winter. It is job security though!
