Worked in this BIG SOB today (sub contactor).
I used to work here some about 25 years ago.
On the otherside of that tall building, there is another several stories high that is so long, you cant see the otherside when your in it.
Its Gerdau Steel (GIGANTIC PLACE!).
It's also about 120° inside (brutal).

Been in similar shops many times.

My first job as a machinist had me running parts next to the company heat treat facilities. It was nasty at times, coming in at 3am to see the thermometer reading 97 degrees before I had even punched in... and then you are trying to hold tight tolerances (+/-.0005") on hot parts that are supposed to be the right size at 68 degrees F.... I don't miss those days!
