Check it out, @Czed , the rare dodge towing a ford (6.no) what should I do with it? Blew up on my lady cousin…needs an engine.

Last I heard engines are about impossible to come by for those. All the reman places are claiming shortages of parts, cores, etc.
Even the big blue oval is having issues making them.
With the price of vehicles these days getting it going again is worth exploring.

I was going to suggest this! Super easy!
Seems like the electronicals of the ford would be a booger. I’d probably run an NV4500 and have to figure out a clutch pedal. I do like the 5R100 trans but adapting is $$$ I think.

I know there are kits out there that are pretty much plug and play. I know a couple guys that have done them in the past. But I don’t know how much they spent either…

Working for a neighbor IMG_20230427_084041.jpg
He's been sick and hasn't been able to run his new tractor it has like a hundred hours on it
And it's a standard that's actually rare around here anymore
He destroyed the loader the first day he had it pushing tree's
He damaged it so bad Mahindra sent two engineer's to look at it from out west somewhere

Check out Diesel Conversion Specialists
They have every thing to do a plug and play if you are not into doing any of the fabing or electronic work yourself.
I bought $2400.00 parts for one of my builds, just waiting to get them freighted up.

Wife snapped a couple pictures of our new beehive after installing a 5 frame nuc. We hope to see improvements in the produce from our garden as well as a better harvest from the apple trees this year. Honey would be nice, too, but I figure on leaving the hive whatever they make the first year to get them through winter.

Beaver came up under the dock yesterday. They are a bit of a nuisance in what the will tear up at times. Talking to my dad a month or two ago about red wing black birds and the nest they build. Found this one yesterday while checking on the cows.

A bridge about 3 miles from my house.
One lane only, still in use.
Its 111 years old (built 1912).

People who live on the East side would have to drive about 35 miles one way to get to the same point of the West side of the bridge.
