It’s hard to feel sorry for people that are told to avoid travel yet can’t understand when they are told this to stay home. Work actually called us yesterday just before noon and said to go home. From when I went in at 7 and left the first job at 10 roads had gotten much worse. They still are not very good but the sun did come out today and things did start to melt on the roads. Not sure if that will be better as the refreeze may be worse.

I dont feel sorry for them. they been warning about the storm for better part of the week. Should have planned little better.

A chunk of seasoned Oak I blocked earlier this year.
I've been cutting them up & giving to a buddy of mine (he's 70 yrs old).
The old Shinny is a beast with a 20"!
Not the best at anything, but SUPER reliable and has never balked at anything I've asked from it (pull a 24" likes its nothing).

Pretty wide stock clutch cover, it does pretty good Noodleing.

My buddy is gonna be happy with some short chunks for his wood stove (had to cut em so I could load the damn things).
I've taken a couple of truck loads to him so far, just to get the stuff out of my way. Lol

15 minute drive from my house. They are south of Granby and I am north. I work out of Joplin. I went out for a load of hay yesterday and hung out for a bit.

Tire rotation and a quick check of things under the car my youngest daughter drives. This jack is nice and stable. Took my time to make sure everything was working and then walked around and shook it before I took it very high. Outer CV boots are torn both sides so I ordered replacement joints since I have to take them off to replace the boot.
