Big camp fire at campgrond this weekend.
Cut some wood today. Tree that blew down. Thougjtnit was some kinda maple but not sure. Leaves dont look lime maple. Maybe one of use will know

I am picking up a dt400 soon a guy gave my great nephew.
The cdi is bad but you can easily lathe down a dt250/360 mag and use points to fix them
We did several back then because a cdi was 400.00 in 1980s dollars.
My friend Charles Wolfe was a hill climber built race and hill climb Yamaha dt and rts from the 70s until the 90s those bikes were something else they competed against rms,kzs,crs and still won often
I'd like to find one of his motors he built he was porting and cutting pistons back then.
Another guy was nip Parsons he could build those engines in minutes and remembered all the parts numbers he worked in a Yamaha dealer as a mechanic.
A lot of these bikes are still running.
Now modern bikes don't last a few years and they're done.
