They really are pretty good cars. Coolant leaks is all that I really see wrong with them. A lot of environmental types and naturalists buy them because of the zero waste factories used to build them. Nothing wrong with that as the world needs all types but damn, they live in another galaxy it seems.motor home.

Years ago when we had Volkswagen at the dealership, the die hard V-dub people are way, way out there...
All this 'ru talk reminds me. Sometimes my wife's smells like burning oil. IIRC, there's an oil weep in one of the valve covers that must sometimes let oil get on the exhaust. How much of a pain to fix? I think it's an '18 Outback.
You need a vortex dust separator.“Cold air intake” below the bumper =ginormic shop vac. Tapped a couple pounds of dirt out of it, washed a couple more out, that’s trying to dry it quick so I can oil it and put it back on so I can go to work tomorrow.
took the shop vac section off. Idiocy…
'Round here they're known as Lesbarus.Around here most of the oblivious drivers drive Subarus.
I've gotta admit, I've ridden in the newer ones and they're pretty nice. Comfortable, quiet, rides nice, no one would even dream that a guy might be toting saws in it. I wouldn't be opposed to getting one in the future, they're a pretty decent ride.I have a Subaru Crosstrek and a Ram Cummins... that really makes people shake their heads!![]()
