Pulled one of the Furnace Stacks at the Crematorium on Monday, total Rebuild, We will install the Stack Friday Morning. My Wife and One of Our Son ‘s were Both Cremated here in 2016 5 months apart. Don’t think I’ll ever fully Recover from that!

Was given a pink wheel. Don’t think it will fit my USG. Went to look at repairing some lift pumps for the prison.

Watched the fallen mesquite in front of my truck fall in the wind. Someone forgot to remove the plastic bucket when they planted it. East wind instead of the normal west too.

Went to one of the hydroelectric plants on the all American canal that brings water to us from Yuma 60 mi away. That turbine is about 20’ in diameter.

@Nutball all our water has always come from the Colorado. Ground water is bad and it almost never rains. Google the all American canal, formation of the New River and the salton sea. Pretty interesting. Even more interesting is prehistoric Lake Cahuilla.
We are making a stand for the turbine. The work is handled by out of state hydro contractors. We also worked on the machinery that lined the canal with concrete. Pretty Gnarr.

Transmission is from a Trax.
So even less of a racecar, but has the same engine as said race car.
So, maybe it is a racecar after all.....

My great-grandfather wrote those checks to the town general store in McDowell, VA. My grandpa found them and did some research and found the store building and business is still there under the name of Sugar Tree Country Store. He donated them to the store and they are still on display there to this day.

This sign was on a book store in Lewisburg, WV. I walked in, told them I loved their sign and bought two books. And I can't even read!
