One of these things are not like the other. 10 minutes from being able to reinstall the carrier, torquing the case bolts. Looks like this one was getting ready to go anyway. Not sure on part number yet. Ford sterling 10.5. Ford parts lookup has let me down so far and yukon gear YSPBLT-054 may be it or close to it. USA standard gear USA33236. Anyone have a ford or Dana number @Steve @redline4 ?

Differential case halve bolts. I was replacing the clutch pack in it since it was so nasty. Friction modifier time. Be nice to have the 'rona since I wouldn't be able to smell.

Yup works great...
For an inny
run a bead of weld on the inner race, let cool and it usually falls out
Dad worked in the Aerospace industry and talks about workers splitting and opening the outer race slightly and adding an extra bearing to the assembly. Different cage as well. I should look up how that is done. He said they have a fixture to do it and when the race is relaxed you can't tell anything has been done.

Wheels on the ground. Don't tell anyone but there is a grade 8 hex bolt with a split washer and red loctite inside the differential case. I can't see it from the outside anyway. Talked it over with the people at the parts counter and decided to redneck it. Only another 100 degree day. Thursday and Friday sucked because of the 100+ and humidity. Waiting to hear about a B&W turnover for the truck so I can set a bed on it.
