And I know everyone says Fram oil filters suck but this had a Mobile 1 filter with 1500 miles on it and it must of collapsed
I’ve heard that over the years. I’ve been using Fram oil filters almost exclusively since my first car circa 1990. Not one failure and I’ve used a good many. YMMV?

Heres a pic of the new grand baby. She has stollen my heart already.
Im glad i cut out early from work. I just got ther and got to hold her for about 5 mins and the doc had to take her to do a few tests. Everything is good though. Hopfully they let them out tomorrow.

Same here. Maybe I've been lucky, but I've never had a Fram fail on me. Has anyone here had one blow up due to the oil filter, and not due to other factors such as trying to go too long between oil changes?

I've never had a fram let me down either. I'll be home this weekend and hopefully have enough time to cut it open.

In hindsight I'm glad it was the filter because searching the internet brought up zero results of a 1 uzf oil pump failing and I didn't want to be "that guy" .

I had one ph3416 split at the crimp. Was on my 2005 Ford focus back in 2007. I only use OE on all my cars, trucks, tractors, lawnmowers and so on now.

Ya, I am an oem fan boy at times too. The amount of testing they do is insane! I have cut open a lot of oil filters and it crazy what some company’s do, not all filters are bad from a certain manufacturer, but then some are really bad!

You're sitting about an hour west of me there, I've gotta brave Suckramento here in a few days for a dr's appt. Nothing like passing homeless camps and drug deals right up the street from hospitals! But, I digress.
That’s everywhere now unfortunately.

I live up by Redding, not in Sac thankfully.
