Broken AC compressor bolts lead to broken new $50 belt. Pissed to say the least at this latest thing on the 6.0. Got to remove the compressor to get to the broken bolts in the hope that I can get the pieces out. Think I will replace the compressor as well while I am there just so I don't have to do it later.

There is a brace that bolts between the A of the lower control arm there.

I'm feeling too old to be laying across the top of an engine to work on it anymore. Got lucky and found the missing bolt and spacer in the valley. This is why I hate paying someone to work on my stuff. Paid for this to be done once, not again. Picked up parts washer the other day and some simple green hd purple. Going to put it to use tomorrow.
