Up for sale is a McCulloch ProMac 700. I won this in a raffle last year. It was gone through by the previous owner and brought up to running condition before being shipped to me. I had planned to use it milling, but it's still just sitting and taking up space. Has the bucking spike and old coil.

I'm not sure what's a reasonable price on this, so how about $400 shipped to the 48 states.

Video of it running:

Description from the previous owner:

The carburetor has been cleaned and reassembled, with a fresh diaphragm and fuel pump rubbers. A new fuel filter was installed on the end of the fuel line, and a new duck bill valve installed in the fuel cap as well. The ignition coil is a NOS unit, as the old one was showing signs of breakdown when hot. The chain brake is functional, but the rear half, which was a muffler guard, was mostly broken off when I got the saw. I cleaned it up and squirted a little paint on the bare magnesium to hide it and protect what was left. The muffler is the mcculloch "Reed valve" style, and part of the reed is missing as they tend to be at this age. Ear protection is a must, even when these mufflers are intact.

So, there are still 2 quirks with this saw.

#1, sometimes the decomp button doesn't fully reset itself once it's started up. If you give the throttle a whack, or just pull the button back out, it's good to go

#2, the recoil rope is a little short. It never bothered me as it seemed to start very, very easy as it is.

I ran it on 40:1 ethanol free gasoline every time I used it.

If anyone has additional questions about the saw, I am willing to answer them. When I offered this saw up for the raffle, it had been sitting on the shelf awhile and it didn't wake up like I thought it would. So I put a coil, carb kit and fuel line/filter into it prior to shipping it west.

I appreciate you dropping in, as i didn't want to bother you.

Do you think the price is fair or too high?
