Around 2 yrs ago I found this 268xp crankcase in my local scrap pile for around 2 bucks so I snagged it. Since then I've been scrounging parts to build it. I started with a farmertec 272 top end, but the quality was so bad I didn't even think the Intake would seal on the flange. I recently purchased a ks 272 jug. When I went to install it I found the flange extension was to large to fit into the case. I've searched for the same issue online but haven't found anything. Anyone run I to this?

Sure on the bottom end... I bought the cylinder from a reputable seller and it looks right.
The aftermarket jug fits fine...

So as I'm taking pics I see the issue. Not a 272 cylinder?? Looks way too long a stroke.

52mm and it looks to be around 6mm more stroke than 272.

I'm thinking maybe a 280s jug.
