Ok I got a great sounding Pro Mac 8200. I just picked this up put fuel in and she runs and idles like a champ.
It is missing the brake flag and has a place with cracked mesh around the recoil.
Really seems torquey !??

Has a 92 DL 3/8 .050 bar and decent chain.

I want to trade it for something else running just a little more modern.
Make an offer I'm big boy I won't get ass hurt, all I can say is no.
I do not have the time for any heavy projects right now.

Travis,
Nice saw. I read on AS that it is believed a clean PM 8200 can be worth $1200. It must be true, it was on the internets.
I read that after I posted

But if that was an offer sold to Jon1212 we can work the details later

You should have read it before you posted.

Uhh, not quite.

By the way, the mesh around the recoil is usually broken to some extent on this style of saw, if it has seen any real use. The material they used is very delicate, and I believe that it is the same material that Snelling's ego is made out of.

Well I just bought a very clean great running 850, which is a bit more saw than the 8200, for $400 if that gives you any reference point on price.

Good for laughs all around.

This saw needs a home where it can appreciated.
The "I read it on the internets guy "was very far in hurt my feelings with a real offer land.
Much like porters with delicate ego's

Sawfun thanks for reference I know jack chit about these old saws.
But this one runs and needs love. I'm not saw racist as long as it starts and is faster than a MS290

Well your saws appearance is a bit rough in regards to paint with no chain brake, 1/2 wrap with no plastic on it so that keeps its price down. It would make someone a great user saw for someone needing a mid 80cc saw who cannot afford a more modern saw. I would guess it at a $150 - $250 here on the forum and around $300 - $350 on Ebay.

What lb test line were you using when you picked up off the hook, and pulled it into the boat?

The Mac 8200 seller and the Husqvarna bow bar guy need to get together.
I think the previous Mac Saller and said Bow Bar guy got together, and this is their offspring.

The tell will be when he starts talking about shooting it: can't hide that trait.

Travis,
There was a guy on AS (VA 372xp) that had a NOS 14" Bow Bar listed for $250 on eBay, and created an ad in the AS Trading Post with the eBay item number. He is the same dumb bastard that stated K041 bars are obsolete in a Poulan Pro Ad I had over there.
It is being inferred that the $1200 McCulloch idiot from AS, and the Bow Bar idiot may not be related, but they certainly come from the same shallow end of the gene pool.

Tell him about the dude that threatened to shoot the saw if we didn't buy it.

Okay, cousin.

Travis,

A former member of SawHawgz had some PM 800/805/850 parts saws/parts/ and projects listed over there. He wanted way more money for them than they were worth. He said to make a reasonable offer. So a few guys made offers on his boxes of stuff, and he got pissed, and said he sooner smash it all with a hammer, or shoot it rapid fire with his .45
Then he made some claim about taking down an Elk with his .45 and that he could outshoot all of us. Weird mf'er.
