Anybody make a pressure tester out of a AC recharge hose with built in gauge?

The automotive type that goes on a can

Guess you could but why? A mighty vac 8500 is around 50 bucks.

I responded to an ad on FB for a tool chest with a bunch of hand tools.
One of the tools pictured was of a recharge hose with gauge and it gave me the idea.
But no response at this point.
I have a mityvac for vacuum. Just no way to test pressure right now.

I'd figure by the time you buy a decent regulator and fittings to convert the hose you would be close to the cost of an 8500.

But hey, it never hurts to make a custom tool. You may have more patience than me too!!
