I have a beautiful late model 306a with electronic ignition for sale.

This saw was very lightly used, and came to me with a bad carb. I found a new carb for it and put it on. It starts and runs beautifully.

I just sold a ratty 245a that needed bearings for 250, so I'd like to get $350 plus shipping for this beautiful saw.

Bump. Make an offer. Will trade for port work on my 064, would take a 28" lightweight Stihl mount bar on partial trade.

The 306 is far from a sand cast

This is a "southern sand cast"

I know it is far from a sand cast poulan. Never said is was.

I simply made the statement that it's a beautiful saw.

Then said Randy likes the sand cast ones in reply to @farminkarman that said this ones a bit newer than Randy collects.

I'm rebuilding my vintage saw collection. Sold a bunch a few years back to buy some cows. This is a fine example of a 306, so I'm interested in a trade deal.

Side note: A scammer sent me a text this morning wanting to sell me this saw. It was obvious to anyone with half a brain that it wasn't the owner of the saw. I asked for a picture of the 306 with a piece of paper in the picture. On the paper, write todays date.

Of course they couldn't comply with that request....but they did send me a picture of Bill's sand cast after a few minutes. LOL

Cows are a good investment. Just based off the face there's always food running around if you need it.

You're right, that 306 is a fine example.

Scammers are becoming more and more sophisticated. I do believe with the AI technology its only going to grow worse.

I am just joshing ya. Ole Poulan, Homelite, and others made some damn good saws in that era. What some folks do not realize is that Poulan was still selling the old sand cast saws right along side the "modern" saws. Homelite was still selling the Super Wiz 66 and 1130G at the time they were selling the 750. There is still a brand new Super Wiz 66 here in a shop that never got sold

I am honestly not sure where that sand cast is now but I will assure anyone that i took the picture and that saw was sitting here. :)I have a feeling it is now in a collection in France. I believe I sent it over there as part of a large trade.

As for sending scam pics it is unbelievable. Years ago I dealt with John Lambert aka Gypo looger on AS and sunlover on eBay. He was a stand up, top notch guy who sold new Stihl 088 and 090's. Every once in awhile some low-life would scam his pics and try to steal folks money on eBay. If I saw it i would send him a message but I often wonder if eBay every shut the scammers down.

As for taking pics with things as proof I am a firm believer in that. I will gladly do it for anyone that does not trust me. I do not blame folks one bit for asking for a bit of extra proof. I am an old fart and hell the older we get we realize ....never trust a fart!!!!

This is an old pic I sent to a jackwagon messing with me on the other site. Sorry there is a bit of politics in it but I did take the swear word out.....
