I've decided to part with my ported 272xp. She's a good one. Nice strong ported saw. All oem. Piston and cylinder are like new. Exhaust set at 98 atdc 152ish intake duration. I did not cut the base. Saw has a nice loud duel port strait pipe! I compleatly tore the saw down and cleaned everything with mean green+ soap and water. New crank seals and a new oem carb. The saw had a few small cracks below the oil pump that I repaired with Jb. Everything is original except the recoil which is from a Jonsered 630. Saw starts fast idles great and turns up nice and quick. This thing cuts super fast and has a ton of torque for a 272. I just finished doing 4 cords of wood with it. I have no idea what a good price for this saw is, so send me a reasonable offer! Pictures and a video of this beast cutting coming soon.

I have a unmodified 272 that I rebuilt from the bearings up, looks about the same as your saw and it is a great runner, I can imagine the bit of a kick that yours has would make it that much better. I love the 2-series! GLWS!!

I hear that, though my 272 will be one of the last saws I get rid of, it was my first full build and I am kind of partial to it!
Yep. The 2 series Huski saws are super nice. There simple and well built like the old ones, but have the performance of a new saw.
