Ported 2159

Got my 2159 back today from @t4driller this saw rips. I told my dad I thought it would keep up with his 044 stock 10mm in smaller wood. He didn't believe me so we got them out. My son timed cuts with stop watch. Both wearing 72lgx72. Cutting seasoned 14 inch white oak best time for 2159 was 8.14 best time for 044 was 9 flat. I handed Dad my saw and he was consistent in the 8's. he couldn't believe it. I was grinning. For comparison we ran a 590 echo it cut 13 seconds. the 2159 is running an 8 pin rim. I'm really impressed with this saw.

I got a 2159 from @cobey and only the lower transfers were played with iirc and it's a screamer. These saw are no joke.

Nice saw and as always Nice Work by @t4driller . There’s something about a 359/2159, I still want one to go with my ported 357. They are great saws. And we definitely need some videos of that action

Yep, I been telling people about Mike for a while, my buddy has 2 x 359 and I have a 346 and 2153,7300 and soon a 5105, he is top notch for sure, he is even a better person then a porter, that says a lot

Thanks. They are great saws. Comfortable to run and have some power to back then up. One of the best firewood saws imho.
