Got the 19A case apart today, it's a pretty ineresting saw. Hope to find some bearings and seals tomorrow clean it up and start painting parts.

Waiting for bearings cleaned up and ready to put together, will need a clutch, forgot that was missing.

I have a super pioneer 51, been looking for parts. No luck there yet.
I was wondering if someone has one of either they would trade for one of these?

I would think in your area the old Pioneer saws would be easier to locate. Maybe i'm wrong.

The Redhead is missing the fuel tank, carb, poppet valve or reed, right side cover.

The super pioneer needs recoil, control leaver in handle for turning the bar, and the casting is broken on the bar side where it turns.

Took a couple more pictures and looked a little closer at both saws.
Both have cylinders and Pistons that look good. The Redhead has spark. And needs the parts stated above.
The Super Pioneer has a broken bar stud, it was drilled on before. Air filter cover. There's a cast ring where transmission is bolted to saw crankcase, it has a piece broken out.
The fuel tank-cover also has a spot broken where it bolts to case.
Pioneer needs;
Complete recoil assembly. The Ring to hold transmission, maybe the whole transmission case. Muffler, and all linkage for rotating the bar.

I couldn’t find a muffler for my 1629 so I improvised...

If you were to look on kijiji. Bro their is a guy selling 5 1629s and 1645 for a real good price.lots of parts and complete saws.

Got a PM Canadien 380 today, it's got spark. It needs a complete recoil and muffler if someone has one laying around they would part with, that would be great.
Both are the same on the 275, the recoil is about 4 inches in Diameter.

A lot of 270 Canadien's were imported into Australia they are going up in price here see them going for $300 to $400 now days around here.
I paid $20 for mine years ago I like them made well and made to last reliable old saw's that still can to this day get the job done if asked.

That's a great looking saw, I picked up 4 Canadiens yesterday 380, 270, 175, 177
Pictures later going to blow the dust off and check them all out, the 380 is the only one missing parts.
