SOLD Partner S65 20" 65cc

Finally got the e-clip in for the recoil pulley. Just put a new plug in it and made test cuts with my mix 40:1 and tuned to it. Being original owner ran 25:1 since he bought it new. All checked out so ready to move it on now.
Past info =
I went ahead and picked up that 1 owner Partner S65 today. Guy bought it new Nov 1, 1985 for $399.99. Have receipt, warranty cards and all the books with the big IPL page.
I didnt want or need the saw but figure I will check it out and pass it onto someone that will want it.

Has 20" D010 058 bar and 3/8 chain that could use a sharpening.

$200 PLUS SHIPPING and INS through UPS on buyer or pick up local. If PP by FF or add 3.5% to total. Other ways to pay or maybe the right trade.

Looked this up on acres site. 48 mm bore, 36 mm stroke, says 8500 rpm max speed?? Is that maxpower rpm or max unloaded rpm i wonder. Probly loads of torque either way.

Never put a tach on mine but it sure sounds like it tunes up in the typical 12-13k range.
These saws were pretty popular for 4 cube racing so I'd guess they'll handle some substantial revs...

LOL thats what you get for paying attention to acres info. Lot of it is so wrong.

I would guess it was their rpm in the cut.

That was a very nice saw
But like you i didn't have a use for it.
I don't even try to sell saw's anymore

I got to keep all the manuals and paperwork. Plus he wanted the yellow clutch cover I had instead of the black one.

Just wanted it gone and have some races coming up quick and told him make a cash offer pay by Friday. He said bet. Done deal.
