To answer a few questions I've seen on here -- We are in fact looking for a variety of OPE users, not just large commercial users. And, yes, this community for field testing and research (which aids product development, etc.) is sponsored by Oregon / Blount International.

They didn't ask for numbers. Between farm stead and woodlot maintenance ,miles of fenceing, the 30-40 cord of firewood sold a year and the occasional timber sale it adds up .

We tried to keep the initial questions we asked for registration short so it would not be too much of a burden. So, no, we haven't asked as much about each person and their use of OPE that we could have.

I have "clicked" on the links, and it appears to be Blount Inc. sponsored. That being said, the survey is biased towards Commercial operations, and appears only concerned with such.
Good thing I've never bought anything from any of the Blount© subsidiaries, other than bars, chain, sprockets, clutch assemblies, etc.

Yes, this is really sponsored by Oregon / Blount International (parent company). This user group is run / managed out of our Portland, Oregon headquarters. I have spoken to one of the users on here (Philbert) personally on the phone.

We do send test product out to users in other countries...at this time the community is only in English, so the only limitation is the need to speak English. Thank you!

That's not an issue for me anymore, even if it's still a bit difficult for me to converse in english on the phone.
