I'm in the fence about getting a portaband or a abrasive chopsaw.
Mostly just going to use it for cutting stock up.

I vote band saw chop saws are louder than a ported saw and dirty.

Have you looked at the dry cut/cold cut saws?
And I agree with Kenneth abrasive saw kind of suck and have trouble cutting non ferraris metals.

I think if memory serves me correctly, someone makes a set up to mount the porta band in to use like a shop band saw. Abrasive saws put too much crapola in the air to breathe in a shop for me. Better suited to outdoor work.

Mornin' Blade Baptizers! High of 52F today and mostly cloudy. AM showers again.

Got the grill fired up and putting on a pork belly. Smoked some chilis to make spicy feta cheese.
