Some times I feel that same way but on the flip side they have no idea on half the stuff on the south end. When something down here needs to be taken care of they just tell me and it’s done plus they don’t have to pay someone from the north end to come down. In the little over a year I’ve been here they have only questioned me twice to the best of my memory and I just tell them tough crap. He did it to me the other day some after 8 hours I left the job and when he asked why I told him why and he never said another word to me about it.

My job tried to hang out to dry when the owners son showed up and he asked me about my production numbers. I told my boss I do all the maintenance and have trained everyone else. Plus none of my sheets come back rejected over poor image quality. Never heard another word about that chit again. Then when I finally went through a program here and got my highshcool diploma 12 years late and told the shop snitch I was getting ready to quit I got a 4 dollar an hour raise pretty fast.

Now I'm like Peter from office space lol just to hard to give a fug.

sure I will love this saw but I can't see myself becoming a collector of the classics for this very reason.
I agree with you Gary, I think I've spend 3 years to build up a part collection for 242, that one is probleby the most difficult saw to find parts for. I used to have a decent collection for 262 also, gave most away after I was done to build those 262 I had.
254 is the easiest classic saw to find new OEM parts for, it was extremely populare in Svandinavia for a good reason, probleby the most under rated saw ever.

Good morning Tor
Good morning Todd

Good Evening Todd. Back from the hospital. Took daughter to same day surgery this morning for some pre-cancerous cell removal in cervix. She is back home doing fine. She will miss work till friday.
I hope she is alright Ray, wish her good results and a speedy recovery!

My 246 ran today. A little massaging to intake/exhaust, new Meteor with Caber, base gasket delete, cleaned up the carb, small muffler mod under original hood. I think it runs pretty good for a little saw. Need to give it to a buddy to run 8-10 tanks through to break it in. Little bugger sounds like a baby 288 the way it idles.

Mornin' Throttle Trumpers! High of 72F today and clear. Thunderstorms all night last night.

We got a ton of rain at about 3AM. I think the dogs were happy I built that new dog house with roll roofing.

They stayed nice and dry. Got VP's 346 in the mail.

Ya'll have a hump day.
