Today was my first Veteran’s Day as an actual Veteran. Not going to lie; between the Birthday yesterday and Veteran’s Day today its been really difficult. I wasn’t ready to be a “Veteran”. I’m not happy about it and i’ll be damned if it doesn’t hurt (the pride and the feels). But, it is what it is.

Ladies and Gentlemen (i use that term loosely), please take a moment and toast the fallen. Not just those who laid down their lives for their Country, but their families and friends as well. Then please take a minute and toast all of the people who have served, as well as their families, for helping in ensuring our Country is the greatest in the world. I don’t give a damn about your personal politics or feelings; if it weren’t for those who stood the line and gave their all, we wouldn’t be able to live our the lives the way we want to. And for that, we all owe our Veterans.

Yeah it's pretty crazy. The camp fire is about a hour away, and the smoke here is terrible. How was the hunting?

Not bad the weather was perfect. We ended up with six rabbits which is a few off our normal numbers but we had some long chases.

Mornin' Carburetor Covergirls! It's a balmy 67F today and I saw bees out pollinating orange blossoms.

Burned some more and now going to look at and possibly cut a walnut stump that is hopefully millable.
