My wife wouldn't agree with you. We have lots of things we want to do with the house / yard and me having many saws doesn't help that any.
it's the same here Gary, my wife was very happy when I told her that I will only spend money on b&c to my saws and use more resources on buildings ;)

Working on removing an older wooden deck and replacing it with a stamped concrete patio with outdoor kitchen and fireplace. I am more than okay with giving up a few saws to achieve this.

That's why you buy junkers then fix them up. New saws are over rated.

I just cant bring myself to buy a new saw.......every time I walk in the dealer and look at them.
I think to myself........I could build 4 saws for the price of a new one.

I prefer to buy lots of part saws, end of the day they'll provide a saw or two.

I thought I was going that route with the 026's but no shipping available. putz...
they probleby got saws in return due the strict control on the airport Gary.
Once I shipped over a couple projects for Mike, got the parcel in return twice, once stopped in NY and the second time on Gardemoen Norway, last time they told me it was due a little tad gas smell.
Pulled the gas caps and let them dry out for a couple weeks, shipped them again + a big note explaining the procedure I had done to eliminate the gas risk.
Its a lot of work but I dont mind doing it.

That's lame. I had a saw show once with gas leaking out of the box because ol dude didn't empty the tanks.
Once I got a 242 xpg from Germany where the whole box was a mess of fuel & oil, dunno how they got it through the airport control in Germany, but it for sure did the flight :D
