Thanks Mark. How's things going with your boy?

Found out he broke up with the girl friend and is living with a buddy of his.
He wants to go to a different school for his senior year.
He still doesn’t want to come home so he is going to stay with my mother in law so he can go to that school.
We are trying to get him to go to counseling.
He has not talked to me but has his mom.
So maybe a little better will see [emoji15]

Thanks for the well wishes. I’ve known for a while the shoulders were bad, but didn’t know the extent. I’ll HAPPILY take shoulder surgery rather than another hip surgery! Hip surgeries are NO JOKE!

As for Teddy, we’ll find out what his deal is. Goofy little heart shaped growth in the middle of the left humerus, right up in the center of the ball at the top.
we're in age where we fall apart that is for sure.
Hope its minor surgeries, them cutters are getting better and better, and that your rehab goes smooth.

My little buddy, Teddy:

that nuts!

I had both hips reconstructed; each had labral tear repair, anchors installed, bone spurs removed, reshaped the pelvic arch, reshaped the femoral neck and ball, cleaned out the osteoarthritis from the femoral face, lengthened the psoas ligament bundle. Each surgery is supposed to have a minimum of 1 year recovery, but I was forced to have both done within 4 months. Had to learn how to walk again as it changed my gait and how I move. Hip replacements you are typically looking at 4-6 months before returning to ‘normal activities. Not a surgery I would recommend. If you don’t NEED it.

The shoulder surgeries should be much easier; you don’t have to support your body weight with a shoulder. Few weeks in a sling, some phys ther and ready to get back to work.
