....one thing I’ll say...the Demon’s are very real...you gotta find a little solace with them...they ain’t never gonna go away. You make peace as best you can...it’s all in the head. And you live your life for your kids, and do them....so they live a better life than our hardworking, knuckle dragging assess!

I didn’t mean to burn you guys out with this...I’m hurt like hell about his selfish decision....I’ll see him again, we’ll fight again in Valhalla! That’s where Marines go....we’ll fight again side by side when the day comes for me....

Only thing that I can feel that would be helpful was some words from a Vietnam Airborne vet I worked with. He said he slept peacefully every night cause he made it home. Granted the worst thing he saw was a buddy of his killed by friendly fire after lighting up a cig.


But vent away sir its healthy, a lot of people hold stuff in and it eats them up.

I’m f’n beside myself...just got word through family a Jarhead, Devil Dog friend of mine offed himself this morning in Tx. We just talked a month and half ago...everything was good. I’m pretty acute to hearing my buddies from yrs past...maybe I *frenched up and didn’t pick up on it. This is a tough sammich to digest fellas! He was a damn good man and Marine brother! I’m *frenching speechless!

Jason, I can't think of much to say that hasn't already been said but this.

No matter what demons you are facing please remember that we appreciate the hell you went through. You helped provide us with a better life and for that we Thank You. We never can say it enough but please know it in the darker times and let it bring some warmth and light to your soul.
