I think you nailed it earlier yesterday 'Purgatory Pattern" this weather is going to be dismal for a while.
About 1/2 of fresh stuck to the ground overnight, just enough to make the roads miserable for the morning commute...

Well our morning routine has had a sudden change. Power just went out, pole fire couple miles away and suddenly 17 000 without power.
