Got a decent sleep in until after 8am this morning. That seems to almost never happen anymore, mostly the new pup getting us up early but today Momma got up with here and I got to spread out and sleep in.

0f to start the morning with a high of 5, little dusting of snow than needs to be cleared but that is about it.

I gotta be careful, even though I've lost over 20lbs, my glucose levels are still too high. 120 yesterday morning. The same two hours after supper.

Thats a bummer man. I have a nephew who is 19 and has type 1 diabetes, and i sure dont envy what that kid goes through on a daily basis. Makes me feel lucky for sure.

Doing good. Wifey and I are working on the steps today again. I put the final finish on them last night before bed. She just touched up the paint on the skirtboards. Looking good. Just need to put some new life on the risers and they will be done. Pics to follow

Man we could use some rain here bad. If it' the least bit windy they have been issuing red flag fire warnings. Which is crazy when you think about it cause it's not even above freezing.
