Lunchtime
That hurts like hell rust had already formed around a piece in my eye year's ago.Afternoon fellas. Home from work the rest of today. I had to go have a piece of metal drilled out of my eye this morning. It's not a pleasant experience.
It had been in there since Sunday.
Worst part is that I was wearing safety glasses. I think maybe the metal filing was in my eyebrow and got in my eye when I had a shower Sunday evening. Idk.
Normally how it happens. Hopefully you have a speedy recovery. If you don't have some, get good dark sun glasses.Afternoon fellas. Home from work the rest of today. I had to go have a piece of metal drilled out of my eye this morning. It's not a pleasant experience.

The piece in my eye was just starting to attach. The Doc managed to pick most of it out but had to drill out the last of it and some rust from the edges. My eye already feels a bit better. That hurts like hell rust had already formed around a piece in my eye year's ago.
Doctor ripped it out with tweezers
I did not like it.
We got 3-4" of fresh snow last night. Driving home with the glare off the snow was brutal. Sunglasses on, hat pulled down. Drove most the way with one eye closed.Normally how it happens. Hopefully you have a speedy recovery. If you don't have some, get good dark sun glasses.
Them eye Dr would make good porters...

They told me a couple days it should feel normal again. Probably take 5-7 days to heal 100%.Last piece I had removed was in the winter. I feel your pain. Makes muh eyes water just thinking about it.

Happy birthday Jon. Have you heard anything from Stihl? Thanks, Wayne.
That's no fun at all. We have to wear a face shield while grinding at work and I'd recommend it to anyone. I keep meaning to pick one up for home but it's one of those things that you don't think about until you need it.Afternoon fellas. Home from work the rest of today. I actually talked to the HR gal today. I'm still in the running. I suggested that since today is my birthday, they should go ahead and offer me the job. She LOL'd and said she wishes she could.Happy birthday Jon. Have you heard anything from Stihl?
