The drum set up is easy and good for the parking brake set up. But weight wise on a 14b there stupid fugging heavy.

What are you using for paint on them covers your doing?

I'm going to scuff them first with red scotchbrite then rinse and let dry. Two light coats of Bulldog adhesion promoter followed by a couple of light coats of automotive high build primer. Then a gold metallic based coat by House of Kolor . Then air brush over top with Auto Air Colors transparent water based paints. Final steps will be to come in with some Auto Air candy green paint and then a final automotive clearcoat to protect it and bring out the shine.
