So y'all eat pie and cheese together? I thought old cheddar was a flavor of ice cream exclusively Canadian for a minute there.

Not as common as it once was but back in the day before electricity was everywhere you always had cheese with apple pie (or pear pie) apparently. Once my grandparents moved to town off the farm Grandpa still always had cheese and Grandma switched to ice cream. They always had the good cheese so I would have both...

By what? Lol No by hand, them days are past me. I picked up and transported all the small wood and split it with the Bark Buster screw splitter. Still waiting for the cylinder to be assembled on the big splitter.

Think they were 3 yr old trees. All around that 6-7 foot. Pretty good sized trees.

One of my favorites. Make it exactly the same as Apple pie. Just make sure to use pears that are still a little green and hard. If you use ripe pears they turn to mush kinda like apple sauce. Still tastes good but...
