Since the time I took off I have lost respect for a few on this site and it's getting to the point where I don't care if I'm on this site or not

I took up for a friend when he was called stupid and the guy that did it annoys the *f-word out of me and quite a few others

Please keep in mind that there are two sides to every disagreement.
Over the last few months [we] have all witnessed you running roughshod over a number of folks that you don't agree with. In a few isolated instances your reaction was warranted, but somehow when you go too far, as with the comments about a member's wife for example, the backlash you receive makes you feel that you are being picked on, or bullied. It really is growing tiresome.

This latest go round with @MustangMike is a perfect example of your willingness to vilify another member that you feel is against you. I've followed the saga, and I just see you being the one to escalate the exchanges between you two.
So calling a "friend" of yours stupid is the reason behind your dislike? That's some serious Grade School behavior.

Wow, I had no idea what was behind Dallas's resentment of me. For the record, I did not call a person stupid, I said that a statement was stupid, but I will apologize here and now for that remark. I did not realize it deeply offended anyone.

I believe the other member and I have been communicating very civilly since then, and are even looking forward to meeting and flaunting our saws at an upcoming GTG.

I have no ax to grind with you Dallas, so I hope you will accept my apology, and I would even like to see your great running saw! The only request I have is that if you get mad at me again in the future, I don't care what you say about me, but please leave my wife, daughter, and other family members out of it. There is no place for that stuff.

I hope this puts this issue behind us, and we can get back to chainsaws.
