can't help my dirty wood problem its all dirty. Oregon could at least add a few more layers of chrome.

They have a triple chrome plated chain, forget what the trade name is but it does last longer in dirty wood, has a M on the links. I also use Carlton semi chisel.

Oregon does offer a carbide chain, but very pricey, and very hard to sharpen. I'm not denying Stihl makes a excellent chain but Oregon sells more feet of 3/8 chain per year than Stihl. Most loggers prefer Oregon over Stihl, cause easier to sharpen and maintain. Mabey a simi chisel version of 3/8 will work better for some dirty wood for ya ? I'm just trying to help out not bashing your likings,

i would use semi but dealers here refuse to order it there excuse is that it cuts slower.

Not all bad news, I just got this in the mail today from @fordf150 seems like a very nice bar and at a reasonable price. Came with an Oregon gauge. Pretty nice if you ask me. 266xp should be a lot happier now with this nice bar.
