If it's anything like the setup I'm running you'll have to add a link for a 9 to fit. On my sugi 24" an 84 dl chain is a snug fit with an 8, ain't no way I could get it around a 9.

Grind on that tail a wee bit. It'll fit!

The 8s I have fit no problemo But I gots a 16" bar on the way and want to put it on my 2188 and was thinking a 9 or 10 would up the fun factor

10 wouldn't fit on mine. Have to go d some of the clutch cover away underneath. 9 fits with the heel cut off.

Yes. I tried it on a 385 and the cover bound up on the 10 pin.

Have you done any work to the rifle yet?

Nope. If I do my part it shoots a ragged hole 5 shot group at 100. Did a few 5" groups at 675. Can't complain at all.
