Not bragging, but I have built a power saw with nothing else but a crankshaft to start with. Went fifty fifty AM and OEM.
Made a dandy of a saw.
My 371 started out as a clapped out junkyard saw. Just kept an eye out for cheap parts and put up a want ad for a cylinder. Really didn't cost much to bring it back even though the crank and cylinder were both toast.

Most of the ones I build start from loggers trash.

Great day. Still training the newb. Hardest thing I did today was cook breakfast and clean it up
LMAO. I don't plan to set the world on fire tonight. A couple more machines to go over and hold down the fort is about it.
