i have a echo cs440 same problem but outboard clutch and needing special tool to get that *B-S.... off i prefer stihls 3/4 socket and impact and you can get most all of them off now i have to buy a special tool ill use one time

I got 2 mint cs400 ,both smoked

set lean from the factory is what killed most of those saws. and the muffler is extremely restricted on it.

i ran the 025 for a few minutes today after work in some wood.
seems to cut nice but i retreated to the house its 96 outside with 89% humidity.
