I was just thinking it might give it a better work out. The 281 I have wants more than the 28 that I have on it, but I might put a 8 on it and see how it does.
That's what I'm thinking too. I'm gonna throw a 36" on it next time and see what happens

most of the older 90 cc and above saws like the pioneers and partners such as the p62 can handle a 8 stock because they had so much torque

I haven't tried it yet but my slightly modded p41 probably won't have any trouble with a 28.

I believe so too. That 28" just seems nice on there. It's a techlite so it doesn't weight anything. Just need a bit more chain speed
lean out the high side a little more and you will have more speed.

my Husqvarna 61/268 can pull a 28'' but my oil pump can't oil it that good.
tried it once when i cut a big oak with brett.
