When we went to the Timbersports show they had a 660 sitting in the store. This was right when the 661 was coming out. Jokingly I asked the guy behind the counter if the saw was for sale. He said it actually was going to be as soon as they got a 661 for display.

I of course asked for a price. The guy ended up getting the manager.
I talked to the manager and he said the last saw they sold a guy gave then $300 for it and he told me I could have it for that once he got the OK from the boss. I was told to come back in the morning when boss man was in.

I started getting excited about buying a brick for $300 that I could easily flip to a Stihltard.

The next morning when I stopped in the boss said I could have it but they couldn't sell it until the new saw arrived. He said the 661 was due to arrive the following week. Of course we were gone by then
