Probably until the forth of July, it's our one day of summer. Lol
Seriously though going to snow all day then cold for a while, not sure how long it will last. It's all up to Canada I guess.

So I get a free day off....wish it was paid, but I'll take a 4 day weekend

IIRC, 23# empty.

'60' gunner was usually a big mofo. So was his assistant who carried the spare barrel. 800-1000 rounds between them.
Every other rifle platoon member carried a 100 round belt (on a good day/easy hump).
