Day one of cleaning out mom's house was an interesting one to say the least. I knew she had developed some hoarding tendencies since dad died but apparently it has been going on a lot longer... she used to do hone perserves, jams and pickles. Well least just say some were past the best before dates...

Yes glass lids. Jars would probably be worth something but I am not about to empty and clean them.

Broke a jar of pickles, thankfully outside on the sidewalk not in the house.

I remember that i had that hotwheels car around 1977 in first grade lol
