Good evening Steve, how are you doing?
Good, drinking a cup of coffee, contemplating my next move.
Good evening Steve, how are you doing?
Good evening Gary, sounds like you might find some cool old stuff.I am done for the month. I don't have to go back to the office until May.
Next week my sister and I are tackling the horrible job of cleaning out mom's house. She's in an assisted living residence now and will never be moving home again so it is time. The only owner of that house mom and dad bought it new in 1967, raised 3 kids in and and we all left stuff behind.
I am concerned the 20yard roll off I ordered today isn't going to he big enough. I will try and scope dad's old tools for anything cool and of value. Should still be a bunch of HO electric trains and AFX slot cars there. Might be some selling to do...
I hope too. I don't know if dad was in the habit of buying high quality tools but there are some there I want to bring home for sure.Good evening Gary, sounds like you might find some cool old stuff.

Evening Steve , was it you that was talking about the power-match bar oil holes the other day? If so have you seen the lubri-jet style power-match? They look kinda like a rollomatic in design, they claim to solve the problem idk never ran one. Oregon following Stihls lead on that design lol55F and sunny.
Good evening Ross, how are you doing? Yep just my luck the fuel tank divider came loose. Oh well good time for seals and give everything a once over.Ugg, that sucks
We bought our house from Lisas grandparents. Of course before we moved in the thing needed to be cleaned. Like good Dutchman her grandparents never through anything out.
The family contacted a auctioneer. He came in with the family after we pulled everything out that we wanted to keep. He gave a price and bought everything in the house.
When he was finished he had the house cleaned. Everything he figured he could sell he kept and he had a dumpster dropped off that he threw everything in it that he didn't want.
It worked really well for us. The family was happy with the money he gave them and we didn't need to worry about cleaning.
About 6 months later he stopped by with another check. He said that by the time he finished selling everything there was more value than he thought was in the house.
Good evening Joe, how are you doing tonight?

I agree, that smaller hole seems like a step backwards. When you enlarge the hole do you chamfer or angle it up any? Or do you just make it bigger?Yes, and they suck. Port is smaller than anything else on the entire saw. Does not allow adequate oiling. Solve the problem? Oregon created the problem. Look at all the old time bars, they had 1/4" holes for the oil to flow in. Does not take much sawdust to plug it up when there's just a little bitty hole. As far as I am concerned, Oregon has a big bill coming from me and an even bigger GFY.
