Now Iam lost the piston? I haven't taken it a part yet its such a good runner. Might fimd some thatneeds new rings like a 036

Also I don't have all the answers, if I did I'd be in the video thread swinging my dick to and fro. A lot of this stuff has no right/wrong black and white set of rules to it to go by, like paint by numbers. You are going to have to see what you can do, most everyone here including myself will give what help we can once you get going. I'm just getting going myself. You may want to do a build thread or ask a favorite builder for help. First thing I do is ask myself what is my goal? What do I need to do to get to that goal. In other words if you're building a firewood saw and ask a race saw builder for assistance, you may be off track of your goal. Be honest with yourself and take your time, it will all work out.

Most people want results now, that's a lot of know how to go into your first build. I have a giant pile of saws that I've slowly been crawling through bit by bit learning a thing here and a thing there, and there is even a more on the yet to do and learn pile, much, much more. So don't beat yourself up about it, but rather get in there and have fun, it will come to you surely.

Will do thanks. Ive been practicing on some shot head and man its harder than it looks. Iam looking at just widening the exhast and helping flow doubt I'll touch transfers. And after watching the @tree monkey vidoes I going to make a mandrel just to have a point of reference on port shape .

That's a good place to learn straight from. Also reading certain threads can be quite enlightening, you may have to sift through a bit of BS, but well worth the knowledge that abounds here.

Excellent post Steve.

Thanks Boss, a lot of what I learned since being here came from you, so thank you. Lots of smart fellers around here, among a few fart smellers. It's pretty evident who's who and what to follow if you pay attention. For a new guy, the fundamentals should be studied first. It's hard to change something for the better without a basic understanding of how it works in the first place. Once you are armed with that kind of knowledge there's nowhere you can't go...

Ain't no BS here.

No way....

No you're a pretty straight shooter, I can see by your gun. What I was referring to as "BS" is the "off topic talk" that gets mixed in sometimes and sometimes confuses things a little bit until it can be sorted out, you know what I mean here(I think).

Well it's warmed up quite nicely outside, so I'm going to get into something and do a bit of doing for a while. Y'all have a good day now...

I love 99% of you guys, you've offered to help and helped me in more ways than I could ever imagine and I thank you for that. Anyone who has my number please contact me anytime you want and others who don't ask around. @jmssaws is obviously a *frenching crook and an overall son of a *b-word to listen to. His remarks and arrogance makes me sick, but yet nothing had been done. Someone like him shouldn't be allowed to sell his service on this site with the amount of negative input I have seen. The moderation on this site are my dear friends so instead of dragging it down and putting us in a *s-word spot I'm just going to ask to be removed from the site with no hard feelings. Like I said I love you guys

Strangely........you posted this a couple of hours after JMS was banned. lol
