Who the hell knows? I'm tied up with the kids stuff alot lately. Think I'm gonna have to give up most of the saw repair work. Just not enough time to do both.
I know the feeling.... I'm doing good if I get in the shop once a week.
Last summer I really got burned out. A tree service approached me asking if I'd do all their work, they said it's usually around a saw a week.
After I started getting into their saws I found out the last guy who worked on them pretty much obama rigged everything on them just to bandaid them together to get them out his shop. I informed the company about that and they didn't care. They said as long as it runs when it leaves and we can get a day or two more out of the saw they were happy.
I informed them that I don't work that way. When they bring a saw in ill be doing it right.
One saw a week turned into several a week, and they wanted them done yesterday. I was tied to my shop 6-8 hours a night after work and all day on Saturdays.
It wasn't fair to my kids.
The money was nice but I ,earned there are things way more important than money.
Sounds like they need new operators!
How come there isn't a true unlimited ignition coil available for the 661 still staggers me why it isn't availableTrue unlimited ignition will help tremendously

That's a nice looking saw there GaryFinally had a enough time to mount a a bar on the 562XP. I sure hope this "outboard clutch" idea really does improve feel as it makes mounting a bar & chain a PITA compared to a Stihl...

wow Iam surprised the hydraulic system could lift it. Weve tried putting extra counter weight on a forklift at work once to move 6000# cutter with a 5000# forklift wouldn't even budge it.The stories I heard about their work......
Last year their crane was in the shop four times getting the boom where it turrets on the truck put on... They snapped the turret bolts once and came into the shop with the turret and boom on the bed of the crane. The shop put new grade 8's back in.
About a month later the crane comes back in again. They fixed them up.
Shortly there after they guys busted the crane a third time, so they put in grade 10 bolts. (There are probably dumb near two dozen bolts and they are at least 1" thick)
I heard as they were lifting a giant ass oak stump OVER top of a house they started hearing bolts snap.
I've seen this crane, I'm surprised that it can lift enough to snap the bolts, but they also have every Saftey and buzzers disabled on the thing.
These guys are lucky they haven't killed anyone yet.
Good morning Brian hope you have a great day todayMorning guys! Coffee is hot and ready!
