I used to drink down a couple of raw eggs a day many yrs ago...one of my brothers used to do the same, until he got salmonella one time. He was sick as chit for days following that and I kinda gave up the hobby. Still eat'em like they're going outta style...just scrambled, fried, over easy, etc.

I got a pair of new flashlights yesterday. A pair of Fenix TK20R's.

Lately most of our calls are in the evening, in the middle of the night or in houses where we had to kill power. The other night one of my lights went dead and I had no spare batteries.

I found these lights. They run on a single 18650 rechargeable battery or you can throw in two CR123's. What I really liked about this light is that it charges with a USB cord. So both me and Lisa can keep one in each of our vehicles and keep it charged with a phone charger.

Theoretically we shouldn't have to worry if the light has fresh batteries in it as long as we remember to plug them in.

I played with it a bit last night and am loving it. It's got a low, medium, high and super high setting on it, this thing is bright. On super high mode it's like having a mini spotlight. The low setting is just low enough to give you decent light and yet not hurt your eyes if they are acclimated to the night.


So far this thing is the cats ass. The only thing I wish was different was that it'd take Apple chargers instead of a USB.

Glad to be back to work after 3 weeks out recovering from pnumonia.

Yeah.....that sucks. My wife and I both had it this winter. Glad you are on the mend.

My BIL was working on a bridge job with a railroad gang a few years ago with a skid steer and they lifted up a stack of railway sleepers ,they reckon it was like a scene from snakes on a plane movie tiger snakes everywhere. everywhere you looked there where tigers everyone was chitting themselves 30 minutes without treatment and your dead
