Here's one for the sounding board masses. Boat insurance with Progressive is due next month...they were the cheapest back when I bought the boat new in '07. My yearly premium was about $170 a yr, it went up to $190 a couple of yrs ago, no biggy. Now the bastards want $230 this go around. I've never filed a single claim or nothing. No amounts policy-wise for coverage have been increased, etc. Mind you, this is a 2007 Bass Tracker Pro Crappie 175...it ain't a damn $80K Ranger fellas. I guess you can put two and two together and figure out exactly what I'm gonna tell Progressive tomorrow morning in a conversation. I don't have to carry insurance on it if I don't want to, hell its been paid for for 7 yrs...I simply keep insurance on it for a little peace of mind. I guess the premium increase is Progressive's way of telling their loyal customers, who've never even filed a single claim, just how important you are to them. I'm gonna tell 'em they can shove their policy up their ass!

Rant over!...see how simple that was fellas, lol?

Ive have Travelers been ok so far

Word of advice don't let your timing chain wear out too much and jump time on these five valves it junked one intake valve and cracked a couple of the seats my great nephews not one for maintenance so it's going to cost him lol and i was attacked by a bloodhound:)View attachment 57799 View attachment 57800

Yup, very common on those.

I worked on one several years ago. The cost for the guy to fix it was more than it was worth.

Dad just had one in his shop last year with that problem too.

i bought a timing chain for a yamaha warrior and it wasnt expensive need to see if the tensioner is good though
Those warrior's are tough they dont need the attention these newer bikes do i just don't see these later generation bikes and atvs lasting especially when the part supplies dry up i work on some that were one or two year production and the parts are nla.

give em hell jason
$184 is the best deal I can get. I don't have a problem with that. Beats the hell outta the $230 my Declaration page and renewal bill shows. I have a disappearing deductible, obviously having zero claims, the deductible went to zero yrs ago. So why the premium increase??...just another way they try to screw ya. I'm cool with the $184. I don't think I'll find the same coverage any cheaper...if I did and it was $20 or so, I wouldn't start anew with another company over that nohow. It's amazing how they wanna bend and give when you tell their asses you're fixing to walk. Again, I don't have to have insurance on this rig. Once it's attached to my truck and anything happens, my trucks' Comprehensive has it covered, just like my camper.
